iabeIn a Bony Embrace

Hayman Theatre and The Blue Room Theatre

Runs 8 – 12 Dec

About the show:

CURTIN UNIVERSITY PERFORMANCE STUDIES

A play that explores love. Young love. Love in a hyper connected world. Love with a Capital L. Love in a century of infinite options. Love in a world with Tinder. Love in a place where a celebrity dog is more important than thousands of drowning strangers. Love in an age of knowing too much and understanding too little. In a Bony Embrace is a funny, beautifully dark, heightened play about clichés and hopelessness, break-ups and modern love.

This premiere production of In A Bony Embrace is part of STAGE ONE, an initiative of the Performance Studies course at Curtin University that annually offers a Western Australian playwright the opportunity to write and premiere a new play.
